So lately, I've been feeling a sense of isolation with myself. I have been practicing the art of solitude and it's an important role in my life. Matter of fact, it become one of those things I have to protect. Here's a few things I've learned from my solitude which I hope you all can find the beauty in it.
Your Solitude is Your Peace.
Many people don't understand the happiness you get from your solitude. Loneliness and solitude are two separate things. Loneliness the feeling of being sad and unhappy about being socially alone. Solitude is the joy of being alone. Once you differentiate the two you can appreciate the glory of being alone. Through this I've been able to connect with myself on a spiritual level.
Your Solitude is your healing process.
Lately, I've had a couple of failed relationship. Whether it was with friends, family, or partners, a loss is a loss. Times like that I do believe my solitude has helped me heal myself. Learning how to accept things for what it is helped me become a better me overall. Sometimes we need to find that space to grow and build ourselves without anybody else's expectation of you.
Your Solitude helps create new experiences
I'm a very private person. Even around the people I love and trust I still have a wall build up. I've been writing a lot more these days and its became my new little outlet. This is different from writing school papers due at 11:59 on Sunday. This has formed a new raw me. To just let my soul speak. It has become a my new vulnerable but exciting journey to express myself like I have never before. My solitude has also help me open my mind to new ideas and my creativity just doesn't stop. It has helped me appreciate the little things in life that are free.

Protect your solitude.
