Summertime Chi Plans

Hey guys! So the weather has been annoying as f*ck these past couple weeks in Chicago and I know y'all can't wait for the REAL summertime Chi to begin. Reason why I love Chicago in the summer is because there is always so much fun free activities to do. Here is a list of things to do this summer in Chicago that won't break your pockets (well... majority).

MCA - Virgil Abloh "Figures of Speech"

I absolutely love going to museums and The Museum of Contemporary Art is the bomb. They always have some really good exhibits and right now Virgil Abloh "Figures of Speech" is there from June 10th - September 22nd. Me and my friends are going next week and I cannot wait to see the beautiful art. MCA is open from 10AM-5PM. On Tuesday's it is free for IL residents and $15 on regular days.

Virgil also has a pop-up in the West Loop with Louis Vuitton.

Hampton Social

Hampton Social is such a cute spot. I love the rooftop area. Food? Great. Drinks? So good. Its a great for meeting up with friends and having a little fun. I recommend the signature Frose it is bomb or the drink bowls for groups.

Movies in the Park

29Rooms

Eh, seems like this is the new wave? Going to interactive places and creative spaces like this has gotten bigger in the past couple of years. I'm not mad at it lol. I think this is a cute idea especially for pictures! It brings more conversations and ideas. They were here last year and they are back again! Only through July 18th - 28th. Such a short time.

ComplexCon

Yes! I've been waiting for this to come to Chicago and its here this summer! From July 20th - 22nd you'll get to see a lot of creatives and exhibitions from your favorite influencers! Go get some tickets!

LondonHouse Rooftop

This rooftop lounge has a view to die for.

Boat Parties

There are always boat parties in the summer! I suggest you check on eventbrite when looking for some popular ones.

Pop Up Shops

There is always a pop up shop coming to Chicago. Try to check some out while you can.

Baseball Games

Whether you're a Sox or Cubs fan there is always a game happening. Go to one or just visit Wrigleyville and check out the bars.
