I love Litehouse and everything they do. Its like chipotle but 100x better. Build your own salads, pizza, pasta, wraps, and so much more. I love the variety they have. When there you MUST try any jerked items and if you get the wraps or sandwiches always get the Dirty Mustard Sauce, its the B O M B.
This was my favorite place to go when I was in college. Thai Bowl has literally the best Thai food in Chicago. I love their Crazy Noodles so so much.
When you want some good breakfast downtown Meli Cafe is one of the best. The potatoes are to die for.
Whew, Wishbone is that spot! They have the best cajun shrimp and grits I've ever tasted. This cajun spot has so many different food items I don't think you can go wrong with anything. They also have a great happy hour menu and who doesn't love good specials?
Nandos PERi PERi Chicken
Nandos isn't just in Chicago but I have to include it because if you haven't tried their food you are missing out big time. No matter how I feel I can always eat some good ol' Nandos. Chicken? Immaculate. Mash potatoes? Like no other. I can literally go on and on about how good Nandos is but just try it for yourself.
This was another favorite spot for me in college. I loved their bread and pasta. I always got the Scampi Spinachi which was the absolute best.
Okay, Soule is that spot you HAVE to try. The food is so good I promise you. I use to hear people rave about it all the time and then when I actually went I knew they weren't just gassing it. This is a great comfort eatery filled with a bunch of flavor. If you don't try anything on this list, try this place for sure!
Two Fish Crab Shack
Yes, the FLAVOR Two Fish encompasses is crazy. This seafood spot is so good! 3 The Chi Way is my favorite sauce when getting the seafood bag.
